Freezer: Freezer space is expensive to construct, operate and maintain. LoadBank International can help you by operating in about 1/2 the space of conventional storage systems or racks. It will also reduce fork truck traffic to an absolute minimum since the throughput is handled almost totally by the system. Inventory control is automatically FIFO-based eliminating concerns over out-of-sequence code dates. Management is able to handle peak demand periods without the stress of conventional systems and product damage is eliminated.

Retail Distribution: SafeLANE™ and XpressLANE® systems are employed in receiving and order selection directly to full pallets or case picked to conveyors for high volume product codes. Systems are also applied to bulk storage and order staging by location. Black & Decker's Ft. Mill, SC "Huge and Hugely Successful" DC has credited LoadBank International with helping meet the demand of their highest activity order picking (Modern Materials Handling Magazine, October 1997, Warehouse of the month). Two and three deep flow racks were replaced with a nine deep SafeLANE™ system so pickers and replenishers could keep up with demand.

Electronics: When the first personal computers were introduced in the 1980's IBM called upon LoadBank International to provide a totally integrated SafeLANE™ system to support its manufacturing operation. Four computer directed fork trucks delivered and received unit loads to and from the system to provide an instant Que of component parts to meet assembly floor demand. Systems have been employed in receiving to improve control of incoming goods, improve dock utilization and semi-trailer turn around. Similarly systems are employed at shipping docks and case picking operations.  LoadBank International systems have subsequently been installed at Compaq and Apple Computer.

Automotive: Many of the component parts found in today's automobiles are provided JIT as a result LoadBank International Systems. Kelsey Hayes/TRW for example uses these systems both at receiving and shipping docks for in-bound and out-bound queues. A variety of wood and plastic pallets, metal and plastic containers are staged in SafeLANE™ and XpressLANE® systems acting as large vending machines.

Pet Food: LoadBank International systems have delivered the "Automated Warehouse" to a number of Pet Food producers. The first installation went into service over 25 years ago at Dad's Products in Meadville, Pa. and is still in operation. Other Pet Food companies have found the same advantage as Dad's. There is no better way to balance out the flow between production and market demand. It's like a pipeline to the shipping dock, one pallet is removed and all the others move up one position. Required space is reduced by at least 50% and so is the need for fork trucks.

Beverage: LoadBank International's horizontal XpressLANE® system is ideally suited to handle the small often unstable pallets in the beverage industry. A recent test was successfully performed handling pallets stacked with returnable bottles over 14 ft. tall.  LoadBank International's systems have been used successfully for many years in dairies and juice plants to support shipping and order selection operations. One customer reports limiting their maintenance to regular wash-down of their dairy system in over 14 years of continuous operation. Because of its smooth, trouble-free, horizontal operation XpressLANE® promises to be a critical component in automation of all types of beverage plants.

Food Processing: For over two decades LoadBank International has been applying systems to the date-sensitive challenges of food plants. These applications serve four basic needs: Receiving of ingredients and raw materials, order selection by full unit load, order selection by case and unit load staging for shipment. Significant return on investment comes from improvements in space utilization, customer service, throughput velocity, inventory control, peak period response, product damage and loss control, facility safety, maintenance, and utilities. Customers such as The Bama Companies and Mission Foods report triple digit increases in productivity, up to a 60% reduction in throughput cost, and over 50% reduction in labor requirements as a result of implementing LoadBank International systems.

Manufacturing: Automobile plants, refrigerators, office furniture, video tapes, cellophane tape, light fixtures, even fire hydrants to name a few are received, stored, queued JIT, staged, selected by order and shipped from systems provided by LoadBank International.
